Miami Beach Man Pleads Guilty in Revenge Porn Case

A Miami Beach man pleaded guilty Friday to child pornography charges after he posted nude images of his then-underage girlfriend online in a revenge porn case, authorities said.

Antonio Giansante, 37, was charged with transmission of child pornography, possession of sexual performance by a child, promotion of sexual performance by a child, cyber stalking, video voyeurism dissemination and criminal use of personal identification information.

After pleading guilty, Giansante was sentenced to 30 days in jail and five years probation. He's set to report for his jail term on April 8.

At the hearing, Giansante read a letter asking for forgiveness from the victim and her family.

His attorney, John Priovolos, was present at the time.

Giansante met the victim when she was 15 while the two were in Puerto Rico. Giansante was her high school soccer coach, authorities said. They started dating when she was 16.

During their relationship, Giansante took nude photos of the victim, some taken with her knowledge. He also recorded them having sex, which authorities say she was unaware of and did not consent to.

They moved from Puerto Rico to Miami Beach in 2009 and broke up in 2012, but remained in contact.

After the victim got a job with a Miami-Dade governmental entity, Giansante started posting nude photos of the woman online and sent the nude images to her coworkers.

Giansante started trying to post nude images of the victim to the government website from a Facebook account, authorities said.
