Miami-Dade Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that left an elderly man in critical condition.
It happened around 9 p.m. Tuesday near Northwest 7th Avenue and Northwest Little River Drive.
According to investigators, the victim was crossing 7th Avenue when he was struck by a grey pickup truck. The driver fled the scene.
81-year-old Tecean Phen of Miami was transported to Jackson Ryder Trauma in critical condition.
Investigators are asking for the community's help in locating the pickup truck that was involved and identifying the driver.
