T-51 Información sobre Pasantías
Telemundo 51 y NBC 6 ofrecen pasantías sin remuneración a estudiantes universitarios cualificados e interesados en la industria de la televisión. Los pasantes adquieren experiencia práctica trabajando junto a profesionales en proyectos que requieren gran habilidad y esfuerzo, y en el proceso, aprendiendo de algunas de las mentes más notables de la industria. Los deberes y responsabilidades de los pasantes varían según el departamento de T51/NBC6 (en la ciudad de Miramar) donde se desempeñen, durante los semestres universitarios de otoño, primavera y/o verano, a tiempo completo o tiempo parcial y según disponibilidad y necesidades operativas del momento.

Nuestros requisitos:
Matriculación en facultad o universidad acreditada (de 4 o 5 años).Estudios universitarios con especialización en el área comercial. Carta indicando que la pasantía recibirá crédito o será reconocida como parte necesaria de su plan de estudios (membrete oficial y firmada/fechada por profesor/consejero). Mínimo de 3.0 de 4.0 total como calificación media (“GPA” por su sigla en inglés). Interés comprobado en comunicaciones o área relacionada.
Las oportunidades de pasantía podrán incluir trabajo en los siguientes departamentos. A continuación, se detallan las tareas que los pasantes deberán completar según el departamento al que sean asignados (haga clic en el departamento para ver descripciones del puesto)

En la hoja de presentación, se deberá señalar en que departamento se desea trabajar, indicando un mínimo de tres departamentos.
Después de ser aceptado, el pasante recibirá un paquete de orientación con las políticas y procedimientos de NBC Universal, las cuales deberá leer, firmar y devolver a la estación cuanto antes.
Un mentor asignado por T51 y NBC6, hablará con el pasante sobre el plan de trabajo determinado por el número de horas necesarias para obtener los créditos de pasantía. Todos los días al llegar al trabajo, el pasante deberá registrar su llegada con el mentor.
El alojamiento y transportación durante la pasantía son responsabilidad del pasante - T51 y NBC6 no pueden ofrecer ayuda.

The intern may work during the Fall, Spring, or Summer college semesters, full-time or part-time, based on availability and business needs. Interns are located at the NBC 6/T51 station in Miramar.

What We Require:
Enrolled at an accredited four or five-year college or university.
Undergraduate Major related to business.
Documentation stating that the internship will be given credit or recognized as a necessary part of your curriculum. (Letter must be on school letterhead and must be signed and dated by your professor or advisor.)
Must have a minimum of a 3.0 out of 4.0 overall grade point average.
A demonstrated interest in communications or related field.

If you satisfy the NBC6/T 51 internship requirements, you can apply online for an internship by clicking here. Be sure to include in your cover letter which department you would like to work in (Please list at least 3 departments).
Once you are accepted as an intern, you will receive an orientation packet. You must read and sign all the NBC Universal policies and procedures and return to the station as soon as possible.
Your NBC 6/T51 mentor will discuss a work schedule in accordance with the number of hours needed to satisfy your internship credits. During the internship, you should always check-in with your assigned mentor upon entering the building.
Securing housing and transportation during the internship are the responsibility of the intern. NBC 6/T51 cannot offer support in this area.

NBC 6/T51 offer unpaid internships to qualified undergraduate candidates interested in the TV broadcasting industry. Interns gain hands-on experience while working on challenging projects, networking with professionals and learning from some of the brightest minds in the business.
